Professor Hollinger is the numbers guy. We couldn't do what he does even if we wanted to. No one's trying to steal his gig. Still ... In the grand tradition of year-end reviews from every corner of the media map, it just feels like a must to say farewell to a wild 2008 in the NBA with a Year In Numbers compilation, with special year-end thanks going to Peter Newmann, Kareem White and all our friends from ESPN Research and the Elias Sports Bureau.
