Dumpin' in Big Bear

I don't know what is more comical, the idea that it would snow four feet in two days in Big Bear or watching kids with 25" stances on 149cm snowboards try to ride more snow than they've ever confronted. I've never seen so many people cartwheeling into bomb holes... and then digging for days. When I headed up to Big Bear I knew there was a storm coming and it seemed like a big one. I fully expected maybe a foot of new snow—if I was lucky—but something told me to pack my Burton Malolo ...
