ESPN.com Saturday, December 20, 2008 Louisville defensive coordinator Ron English will be announced as the new head coach at Eastern Michigan as soon as Monday, a source within the Louisville program told ESPN.com. English is expected to sign a five-year deal for about $350,000 per year, a person briefed on the deal told ESPN's Joe Schad on Saturday night. A news conference was set for Monday.
