The 2008-09 NBA season started a bit earlier than normal. A handful of teams, then, have reached the 27-game pole quicker than usual. You know what that means. With one-third of the 82-game schedule essentially gone, it's time for ESPN.com's annual First Trimester Report, enabling us to take stock of the league's seven major award categories.
