Mets meet with Fuentes

The Mets, in the hunt for a closer, just concluded a meeting with Brian Fuentes, and they're scheduled to meet with Trevor Hoffman next. They don't currently have any plans to meet with Kerry Wood, who is not in Las Vegas for the winter meetings. The Mets have not made a formal offer to Francisco Rodriguez, but they did discuss "concepts."
