Modano converts in shootout to push Stars to victory

DALLAS -- Dallas Stars goaltender Marty Turco made sure the Colorado Avalanche's shootout success over the last two seasons wouldn't continue. Mike Modano scored in the shootout's fourth round, and Turco stopped Ryan Smyth's shot to give the Stars a 2-1 victory over the Avalanche on Friday night.
