Crawford, Holman lose appeals to play for different schools

Former Indiana guard Jordan Crawford lost an appeal for a waiver to play this season at Xavier. Xavier officials were told by the NCAA that Crawford would have to sit this season per the one-year in-residence requirement for a four-year transfer. Crawford's former teammate, Eli Holman, was denied a similar request to play this season at Detroit without sitting out.
