Monday, December 1, 2008 WORCESTER, Mass. -- Anthony Johnson scored 20 points and Greg Nero added 13 as Fairfield defeated Holy Cross 78-66 on Monday night. Holy Cross (2-5) lost its fifth straight. Fairfield (4-3) outscored Holy Cross 38-16 points in the paint and led 40-33 at halftime. The Stags extended the lead to 54-39 on back-to-back dunks by Johnson with 14:58 remaining.
