Sverrisdottir scores 18 as TCU regroups, tops Eastern Michigan

CANCUN, Mexico -- Helena Sverrisdottir scored 18 points and TCU (No. 24 ESPN/USA Today, No. 22 AP) recovered from its first loss of the season with a 71-55 victory over Eastern Michigan on Friday in the Caribbean Challenge. Rachel Rentschler added 14 rebounds and 13 points and for TCU (6-1) while TK LaFleur scored 12 points. Tavelyn James led Eastern Michigan (2-4) with 17 points.
