Boston College gets off to fast start, upsets TCU

CANCUN, Mexico -- Mickel Picco scored 23 points and Boston College started the game with a 20-0 run to beat TCU (No. 24 ESPN/USA Today, No. 22 AP) 77-68 on Thursday in the Caribbean Challenge. Stefanie Murphy added 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Eagles (4-1). Picco and Murphy each scored six points during the opening run that finally ended when Helena Sverrisdottir hit a jumper 6:46 into the game.
