With little freedom left before the start of Vikings camp, Culpepper awoke at 4:30 on a July morning to fly from his home in Orlando to Chicago. After landing at O'Hare, he spent 30 minutes waiting curbside for his ride before giving up and cabbing it to a downtown hotel.
