Monday, November 24, 2008 They've stopped here on the first football Saturday of the year, along a patch of Texas highway, not far from the Cotton Bowl. Some left their homes early, some just in time. Some arrived in cars, some on buses. Some want a smoke, some want a soda, some just want to get the trip over with. Many are on their way to a stadium.
