Sunday, November 23, 2008 PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. -- Defending champion Tommy Armour III made a 36-foot birdie putt on the first hole of a three-way playoff with Scott Simpson and Brock MacKenzie on Sunday to win the Callaway Golf Pebble Beach Invitational. The 49-year-old Armour, a two-time PGA Tour winner, began the day with a five-stroke lead over Rich Beem.
