TCU holds off Sam Houston State's late rally to stay perfect

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Helen Sverrisdottir scored 17 points and TCU (unranked ESPN/USA Today, No. 24 AP) held off a late rally to beat Sam Houston State 89-75 on Sunday night. Emily Carter scored a career-high 15 points to help the Lady Frogs improve to 4-0 for the second time in school history. Eboni Mangum added 12.
