Kellogg returns to his roots in effort to lift UMass

AMHERST, Mass. -- Derek Kellogg still has a hard time believing that this is his office, overlooking UMass' William D. Mullins Center basketball court through a third-floor glass window. He was a sophomore on the basketball team when the Minutemen moved from the Cage to Mullins 15 years ago. Now he's their head coach.
