Monday, November 17, 2008 I remember this statement that Eddie Vedder made back around 1994, when Pearl Jam announced that it was done making videos for EmptyVee. After the heavy rotation that that "Alive" and "Jeremy" got, he said he never wanted to be the face that everyone hates because they are so sick of seeing it. Vedder and Pearl Jam understood that sometimes less is more, and not having your mug constantly in everyone else's mug, may be good for your longevity.
