TEMPE, Ariz. -- Dymond Simon scored 15 points and Briann January added 14 to help Arizona State (No. 18 ESPN/USA Today, No. 17 AP) cruise to an 86-53 victory over Tulane in the second round of the WNIT on Sunday. Kate Engelbrecht had a career-high 13 points and four steals for the Sun Devils (2-0), who overcame 21 turnovers by shooting 54.7 percent from the floor and hammering Tulane on the boards 41-27.
