Poor Gary Bettman. If he didn't have bad luck he'd have no luck at all. Sure, his "new" NHL is a hit. Fans are back in record numbers and the rules changes have worked their magic (scoring is up nearly a goal a game and the shootout rocks). Plus, there's a rookie class for the ages (Crosby! Ovechkin!
