ESPN.com Friday, November 7, 2008 Detroit Lions quarterback Dan Orlovsky has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Jaguars paving the way for the Daunte Culpepper era to begin. Orlovsky has two fractures and a torn ligament in his right thumb. He will visit another specialist next week to determine whether he will need surgery.
