Plenty to learn from Week 1

You can learn quite a bit in a week's worth of games. Dwight Howard still can't hit free throws, coach Don Nelson still can't trust his bench, and I still can't believe I picked Kirk Hinrich over Derrick Rose in one league. Ridiculous. I always preach patience with star players who are off to slow starts because, let's face it, you need a bit more than two or three games to call it a decent sample size. You need a month.
