Blogging from the Banks: Entry One

Just to let you know, I'll be blogging all this week from the Outer Banks of North Carolina. If Puerto Rico is the East Coast's Hawaii, than Hatteras is it's Baja, of sorts. The first time I surfed here was in 1990, and it still has the same magic. Not only are these beaches completely exposed to any pulse in the Atlantic, but there are several different wind/swell options, miles of protected National Seashore, and serious Southern Hospitality.
