HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Austin Davis scored five rushing touchdowns and threw another score to lead Southern Mississippi to an easy 70-14 vicorty over Alabama-Birmingham on Saturday night. The Golden Eagles, (3-6, 2-4 Conference USA) snapped a five-game losing streak, which was their longest in 32 years. Southern Miss has never lost to UAB in nine all-time meetings.
