BATON ROUGE, La. -- C.J. Byrd scored on a 3-yard run in the second overtime to lift Southern to a 31-24 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday night. Byrd's score held up as Southern's Gary Blackmon intercepted Gyona Turner on Arkansas-Pine Bluff's next possession to end the game.
