Off Broadway: Shanahan through with Rangers, seeking work

Veteran forward Brendan Shanahan has closed the book on his time with the New York Rangers and is looking for work with another NHL club. "It's no secret he was focused on believing he would be staying in New York with the Rangers," Shanahan's agent Rick Curran said Thursday. "But it's not going to happen."
