Quarterback Derek Carr from Bakersfield Christian High School (Calif.) has become accustomed to the bright lights, but now the spotlight is on him, as he is the latest ESPN RISE National Football Player of the Week. Derek is the younger brother of David Carr, former No. 1 NFL draft pick out of Fresno State (now backing up Eli Manning with the New York Giants).
