Monday, October 27, 2008 QUEBEC CITY -- Melanie Oudin upset third-seeded Sybille Bammer of Austria 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 on Monday in the Bell Challenge. Bammer, ranked 26th in the world, was the second-highest seed in the tournament after Italy's Flavia Pennetta, originally seeded second, withdrew following the death of close friend and fellow tennis player Federico Luzzi.
