Monday, October 27, 2008 ARLINGTON, Va. -- Alex Ovechkin will miss the Washington Capitals' next game because he is traveling to Russia to be with his ailing grandfather, ending a a 203-game streak. The NHL's reigning MVP, who has missed only one game in his four-year career, caught a flight home Monday morning. Ovechkin, who led the league in goals and points last season, will sit out Washington's game against the visiting Nashville Predators on Tuesday night.
