Saturday, October 25, 2008 DEKALB, Ill. -- Junior Mike Salerno kicked a 30-yard field goal with 12 seconds to play on Saturday to lift Northern Illinois to a 16-13 victory over Bowling Green. Salerno converted on three of four field goal tries for the day as the Huskies (5-3, 4-1 Mid-American) won their third straight and fifth in their last six games. The Falcons (3-5, 1-3 Mid-American) led 13-10 late in the third quarter following an 18-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Tyler Sheehan to wide receiver Marques Parks. ...
