Saturday, October 25, 2008 WEST ALLIS, WIS. -- Olympic medalist Shani Davis set a track record in the 1,500 meters Saturday at the Pettit National Ice Center. Davis won in 1 minute, 44.48 seconds, shattering by 1.96 seconds the mark he set on Oct. 22, 2005. Davis, who won Olympic gold in the 1,000 and silver in the 1,500 at the 2006 Turin Games, plans to concentrate on the long track events at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
