LUXEMBOURG -- Top-seeded Elena Dementieva beat former No. 1 Amelie Mauresmo 6-4, 6-0 Friday to reach the semifinals of the Fortis Championships. Dementieva, the Russian Olympic champion, won the last eight games and limited the fifth-seeded Frenchwoman to nine points in the second set. Dementieva is going for her third title of the year and will play eighth-seeded Sorana Cirstea of Romania in the next round.
