Thursday, October 23, 2008 LINZ, Austria -- Top-seeded Ana Ivanovic and No. 2 Vera Zvonareva eased into the Generali Ladies quarterfinals with straight-sets victories on Thursday. The fourth-ranked Ivanovic downed Sybille Bammer of Austria 6-4, 6-2, while Zvonareva routed Nuria Llagostera Vives of Spain 6-2, 6-0. Ivanovic dropped serve twice in the opening set but finally settled in after breaking Bammer for a third time at 4-4.
