Venus thwarts Ivanovic in Zurich semis, will face Pennetta

ZURICH, Switzerland -- Venus Williams rallied from a set down to beat second-seeded Ana Ivanovic 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 Saturday in the Zurich Open semifinals. "Obviously winning is fun but winning close matches [is] rewarding," Williams said. Williams will face Flavia Pennetta in Sunday's final, after the Italian beat Spain's Anabel Medina Garrigues 6-3, 7-6 (6) in an earlier match.
