The Yankees of 1936-41 won five championships in six seasons, and a decade later, the Yankees of 1949-1953 won five straight titles. The Philadelphia Athletics of 1910-1914 were a dynasty. Babe Ruth's Yankees appeared in seven World Series from 1921-1932, winning four of those. A lot of folks within the sport regard the Reds of the early '70s as a dynasty, although they won just two World Series in 1975-76, while losing the World Series in 1970 and 1972 and falling in the playoffs in 1973. ...
