What would you remember? Mike Tepper remembers the shoe, a size-15 black Vans skateboarding shoe. A week later, it was still there, propped up against the curb at the busy corner of Dwight and Telegraph, in a stain of dried blood. He was in a wheelchair, on his way to a summer school class for the first time since the incident, and the sight of the shoe stopped him.
