Is it me, or has the official ASP statistician been really busy rewriting surfing's record books? After all the new accomplishments on the Men's Dream Tour, a new record was set yesterday, as 14-year-old Tyler Wright became the youngest ever surfer to win an ASP World Tour event. Wright iced Silvana Lima, of Peru (almost ten years her elder at 23) 13.64 12.84, in the finals of the Beachley Classic. This event had the highest points and prize purse of the year.
