Saturday, October 11, 2008 EL PASO, Texas -- Trevor Vittatoe threw three touchdown passes as Texas-El Paso came back for a 24-21 win over Tulane on Saturday night. Vittatoe finished 21-of-32 passing for 296 yards. The Miners (3-3, 3-0 Conference USA) reached .500 after an 0-3 start for the first time in school history. Andre Anderson, who entered the game as the nation's ninth-leading rusher, carried the ball 29 times for 255 yards and two touchdowns for Tulane (2-4, 1-2).
