GREELEY, Colo. -- Bryan Waggener threw two touchdown passes for Northern Colorado, which defeated Idaho State 29-9 in its homecoming game Saturday for the Bears' first win of the season. Neither team scored in the second half. Northern Colorado (1-4, 1-1 Big Sky Conference) scored 19 points off two turnovers by Idaho State (0-6, 0-3), and the Bears scored two safeties.
