ESPN.com Thursday, October 9, 2008 You have to admit, it's a great idea. Today is Yom Kippur, which is known as the Jewish Day of Atonement. While you read this, I will be in temple, reflecting on the past year and atoning for my sins. Whatever your beliefs, you gotta give it up to the Jews for this idea. One day, you pray and atone for all your sins and then you get a clean slate. Start anew for the year. In fact, this past weekend I loaded up on sins just to get a few in under the wire.
