Boy, times have changed in sports. I remember back in 1973, I was on cloud nine because I was going to be coaching on the Division I level. I went from being an assistant at Rutgers University to the head coach at the University of Detroit. I was getting a whopping $17,000 a year plus some free shoes and maybe some equipment from Converse! Wow. I was so excited! How have things changed?
