METZ, France -- Spain's Carlos Moya beat top-seeded Ivo Karlovic of Croatia 6-3, 7-6 (4) on Wednesday in the second round of the Open de Moseille. Moya will face fifth-seeded Dmitry Tursunov of Russia, a 6-2, 6-2 winner over Argentina's Jose Acasuso. In another second-round match, Serbia's Janko Tipsarevic beat Latvia's Ernests Gulbis 6-4, 6-4.
