More than 400 Monmouth Beach residents turned out Sunday, September 21st, to honor Shana, a 19 year old Monmouth Beach girl who tragically lost her life to the complications of bacterial meningitis. Shana, daughter of Madeline Wasserman, spent most of her childhood and teenage years in Monmouth Beach where "everyone" recognized her smiling, cheery disposition, her dedicated community involvement, and her selfless engagement in serving children, her friends and neighbors.
