ESPN.com Monday, September 29, 2008 Carl Edwards was like a quarterback throwing deep when he went for broke to try to win Sunday at Kansas Speedway. It didn't quite work; he banged the wall on the last lap and finished second to Jimmie Johnson. But Edwards was roundly praised for going all-out to get the victory. Now it's time to play defense.
