SEATTLE -- In a season of underachievement, one of the few positives for Seattle was the consistency of Jose Lopez, dispelling any thought that he can't be an everyday contributor. Lopez added to the best season of his young career with a pair of homers on Friday night in the Mariners' 10-8 win over the Oakland Athletics.
