Reds' Cordero has bone spur removed from right foot

ST. LOUIS -- Reds closer Francisco Cordero had surgery Friday to remove a bone spur in his right foot, an injury that manager Dusty Baker said the pitcher has dealt with all season. "It bothered him since spring training," Baker said. "He couldn't run, and had trouble covering first base. He said some days it would feel fine and other days it would kill him."
