Gaston to manage Blue Jays through 2010; Ricciardi to return in 2009

TORONTO -- Cito Gaston signed a two-year contract extension with the Toronto Blue Jays before their home finale Thursday night against the New York Yankees. General manager J.P. Ricciardi also got a vote of confidence, with team president Paul Godfrey confirming Ricciardi will be back in 2009. Ricciardi has two years remaining on his contract.
