GREELEY, Colo. -- Andrew Ireland kicked a 29-yard field goal to give Texas State a late lead, and the defense recovered a fumble at the 1-yard line in the final seconds to seal a 38-35 win Saturday over Northern Colorado. Northern Colorado (0-2) trailed 35-28 late in the third quarter after Alvin Canady's 5-yard touchdown run for Texas State with 20 seconds left.
