Saturday, September 20, 2008 LAUSANNE, Switzerland -- Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka have given Switzerland a spot in next year's elite Davis Cup World Group. They defeated Belgium's Xavier Malisse and Olivier Rochus 4-6, 7-6 (6), 6-3, 6-3 Saturday in doubles for an unbeatable 3-0 lead in the best-of-five playoff series. They also paired to win doubles at the Beijing Olympics. Federer beat Kristof Vliegen in straight sets in Friday's singles, while Wawrinka stopped Steve Darcisg.
