Friday, September 19, 2008 TORONTO -- Blue Jays right-hander Shaun Marcum needs ligament replacement surgery in his right elbow, and is expected to miss the entire 2009 season. "It's going to be tough," the 26-year-old Marcum said of the long layoff ahead of him. "It's tough just to sit there, you want to be part of the team so bad, it's going to be tough next year when spring training rolls around and I'm not going to be one of the guys."
