ST. PAUL, Minn. -- On the eve of training camp, the Minnesota Wild still had one glaring item remaining on their summer to-do list. Marian Gaborik's future -- ideally signing him to a long-term contract extension, or else consummating a trade to avoid losing him to free agency next year for no compensation -- must be determined soon.
