Flames' Fleming leaving team to coach KHL club

CALGARY, Alberta -- Flames assistant coach Wayne Fleming resigned on Thursday to become the head coach of Omsk in Russia's new Continental Hockey League. "We have great respect for the work Wayne did with us and appreciate his contributions," Calgary general manager Darryl Sutter said in a statement.
